Over the years Filson has worked with a number of companies (from recognizable players like Levis and Vans to much more obscure labels like Apolis and Nanamica) who have played a substantial role in their resurgence, which seemed to centre mainly around Filson bags and accessories. But their clothing, while having maintained the highest standard of build quality, has been somewhat stagnant amongst the current stream of menswear.
I can only hope that Mr. Chai can live up to this industry's high expectations of both the brand and the man himself.
