Photo Prisms by In Love With Excellence

— Furnishing your space is a growing process, and it’s more about the aggregate than just the singular “wow” pieces. With that in mind, check out these photo prisms by In Love With Excellence.

The prisms are the work of In Love With Excellence’s Ilona Fiddy, a Toronto based multi-disciplinary artist and designer. Each are made from repurposed or salvaged wood, adding another layer of uniqueness to their one of a kind shape. The hand finishing occurs in beeswax, coconut oil and natural linseed.

Some people might say, “why would you waste all of that time searching for something like that? It’s just a picture holder. It’s more important to have a great couch!” I’m of the mindset that if you’re going to have something in your home every day of your life, it needs to be something that brings you happiness at some level, whether it’s a couch, a kitchen table or a photo prism. All of the pieces matter.
