A selection of music from some of our favourite industry insiders
Featuring 10 athletes from the National Football League
The Special NFL Edition
For professional athletes, performing at a high level often relates to one's pre-game routine. This weeks In Rotation takes a look at the songs that inspire some of the NFL’s best. Rookies, take note.

I like it because it has a good vibe and it’s one of the few tracks that I know the words, so it’s nice to be able to repeat the lyrics in my head while

I always had a theme song each year, and this was mine last season. I like the beat and the meaning behind the lyrics. I’m already filled up with excitement going into the game so I like to listen to tracks that will keep me mellow.

I consider myself a beast, and Lil’ Wayne always talks about being a monster, and the words in that song prepare you to go into combat. I can’t explain how it makes me feel, but it helps me to perform at a high level.

Editor's Note: Unabashedly Obsessed
While people's aspirations and motives for doing what they do is a result of different objectives, there is however, a common ground to each of them. They all chose a path that was decidedly selfish of their own personal time, in favour of feeding their obsessions.
