Nail Art by Chen Chun-Hao
Chen Chun Hao creates a twist on traditional Chinese landscape paintings by displaying variations in light and density when using, wait for it, a nail gun. The results are an elaborate display of florid landscapes from the most unlikely materials.

There was a time during the Song dynasty in Ancient Chinese tradition when artists focused on conveying the relationship between man and nature. This was done in a calligraphic type technique with delicate strokes creating impressions of mammoth landscapes on scrolls of paper.

Hao is able to capture that same slight brush stroke using a very disparate material but ultimately providing the onlooker with a similar intricate and ornate effect.
