If you're from Toronto, you must have heard about The Bata Shoe Museum. While some have paid a visit to the spot, there are still a good chunk of people have yet to step inside the doors of this museum. With Bata's recent announcement of its "Out the Box" sneaker exhibition, this may be an ideal time to stop procrastinating and head on over there. For those that don't know, the museum collects, researches, preserves, and exhibits footwear from around the world and houses more than 10,000 pairs as part of its personal collection. However, this exhibition will be the first time in the museum's history where they will feature sneakers as part of their program.
The exhibition has been in the works for quite some time now, and from what we have seen, it is fairly impressive. Companies such as adidas, Nike, Reebok, PUMA, Converse and Northampton Museums and Art Gallery all took part and granted the museum access to rare gems from their archives.
As part of the exhibition, Bata Shoe Museum reached out to Bobbito Garcia aka Kool Bob Love, and alongside DJ Tabs, they will be rocking a party at Bata Shoe Museum. For more event details and ticket information, head on over to Bata Shoe Museum's official Facebook page
