Mimicking bubbles boiling in a pot, KIHOU is a bubbling brew of liquid light. Yes, you read correctly: liquid light.

Created by tangent, a design studio based in London and Tokyo, KIHOU is a sticky translucent liquid covered with a thin layer of black silicon oil. LED lights are fixed to the bottom of the pot, along with a small pump. The end result is luminous light pushing and pulsating through the dark surface.

This bubbling form of light breathes life into its container creating a mysterious effect of mischievous proportions.
